Van Furniture unique new oak roof lining for VW Transporter T5 & T6 in SWB & LWB.

Collection in person from our workshop only.

The roof lining is cnc machined with V Cut lines to give a slat wall effect but is supplied in sheet form ready to install. Sheet is supplied in 2 pieces with a hidden join. Install time of a timber head lining could take several hours, this oak head lining in a solid sheet will take 1 hour. These are flexible sheets to follow the contour of the van easily.

It is recommended to bond our oak roof lining kits up with Sikaflex or Tiger Seal, this gives a smooth finish with no visible fixings.

These sheets are made from real oak veneered 6mm MDF so can be easily flexed to the curve of the van. The oak head lining is supplied natural as the photos, this is then ready for a natural oil, wood stain, paint or lacquer to suit any bespoke van conversion.

What vehicles is the Oak Roof Lining compatible with?
This oak roof lining is specifically designed to fit VW Transporter T5 and T6 models, available for both SWB (short wheelbase) and LWB (long wheelbase) variants.
What is included in the Oak Roof Lining kit?
The kit includes two flexible oak-veneered MDF sheets CNC machined with V-cut lines to create a slat wall effect. The pieces have a hidden join for a seamless look and are ready for bonding and finishing.
How is the roof lining installed?
The roof lining is designed for easy installation using Sikaflex or Tiger Seal to bond the sheets directly to the van roof, allowing a smooth, fixings-free finish. Installation takes around one hour.
Are lighting options available with the kit?
Yes, lighting options are available. You can choose a version with 6 x LED cut-outs, with or without the LED light fittings. Light fittings are available at an additional £60.
Can I collect and install this myself?
Yes, the kit is offered as a self-build flat-pack starting from £160 for SWB and £200 for LWB. It is only available for collection from the MTB Vans workshop. A fully installed option is also available for an extra £100—get in touch to book.
